Collaborative working

Collaboration has long been a vital component of the NHS - collaborating with patients, with the local council, community groups, general practice colleagues and beyond in order to be able to provide high quality and effective services. Now with the publication of the NHS Long Term Plan there is an even greater focus on collaborative working and we are working closer than ever before with our neighbouring CCGs, the local council and healthcare delivery partners, such as Barts Health NHS Trust and East London NHS Foundation Trust, through partnerships and joint management arrangements. These pages detail the different ways we are collaborating with local partners and the wider NHS to be able to respond to what our patients have continually told us, to improve access and integration, to improve the health of our residents and to commission and deliver a future NHS that has at its core joint working, effective use of resources and better more integrated care.
