Dr Clare Davison
Clare first worked in Newham in 1990 as a community paediatric officer and returned in 1993 as a GP partner to Market Street Health Group, in East Ham. From 1996 to 2010 she was the GP diabetes lead delivering service improvement and redesign across all disciplines and the local health organisations. In 2010 she joined Newham Practice Support Unit as a salaried GP working in three previously failed GP practices then under primary care trust management. She led a public sector spin out project setting up Lantern Health Community Interest Company, which took on responsibility for the merged practices via an APMS contract in 2013. In 2015 she was a founding member of the local GP Federation, Newham Health Collaborative Ltd and was the GP lead for their first successful contract tender (Vicarage Lane APMS Practice). She resigned from her Federation position in the summer of 2016 when she joined Newham CCG Board as the NW1 sector GP representative.
