Ellie Robinson

Ellie Robinson
Lay Member for Patient and Public Engagement

Ellie is actively involved in the community - she grew up in Newham, has been a school governor, and was a Newham Councillor for six years (three as a Cabinet Member).

Her professional background is in public affairs and stakeholder engagement, in the political world and the voluntary sector. She currently works for the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, as a Senior Advisor responsible for stakeholder engagement.

Ellie gave birth to her son in Newham University Hospital (on the ward where she was born!). As a mother she now has a particularly keen interest in our local health provision and believes our community deserves a world class health service. She is excited about the prospect of working with the brilliant team in Newham to deliver this.
